The process begins with sculpting plaster directly onto canvas, a time-intensive step that can take weeks to complete. Next, the sculpture is carefully sanded layer after layer. After the canvas is completely sculpted, I used a 2 part epoxy clay to sculpt the rays over a layer of soft sand 🌊 The piece is then coated in a shimmery sea blue with hints of green and silver glass shards ✨✨
